Every site looks out over the vines and the ranges, and every one is a short walk from the pavilion. Pick the light you want to be married in.

  • Benches between the vines, a timber arbour at the end of the row and the ranges going blue behind you. The afternoon light comes in from the west, over your guests’ shoulders.

It’s Denman’s best kept secret for sure.

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day for our wedding weather wise and were able to get married at the Lookout at Two Rivers. It was stunning. The views are breathtaking and we had many people say to us that they didn’t realise you could get views like this in the Upper Hunter, it’s Denman’s best kept secret for sure. The Ceremony location was set up beautifully with chairs and benches and Laura and the staff were able to reconfigure the set up for the elderly people we had present to accommodate their walkers, etc. The venue was also very welcoming of our dog Rosie and the hired horse Sir Duke who pulled the bridal carriage. There was also a couple of back-up options had the weather been unfavourable which were shown to us early on, in case a last minute decision had to be made. Thankfully we were lucky with the weather but it was great to know that we had options.

You guys absolutely nailed it.

Laura!!

We cannot begin to thank you and the Two Rivers team enough! Your help and support in the lead up to the day and the seamless running of the day was amazing. We could not have done this without you.

We have had so much feedback from our guests about how smoothly the day ran and how good the food and wine was. You guys absolutely nailed it.

It was truly the most wonderful day and we are so glad we got to have it at Two Rivers. You’ll definitely be seeing us out there again.

Every corner feels so special.

We couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful place to get married than Two Rivers. The views are absolutely stunning, and it’s the perfect setting for breathtaking photos every corner feels so special. From my very first email, everything was so easy and stress-free. The team was incredibly quick to respond, which made the whole planning process feel smooth and reassuring. A special thank you to Laura, who was absolutely amazing. She checked in regularly leading up to the big day and went above and beyond even helping me get ready before walking down the aisle. Her support made me feel completely at ease, and I truly can’t thank her enough. Thank you for making our wedding day one of the most memorable days of our lives.

She was a very calming presence.

Laura and the team at Two Rivers were simply fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning venue for both our Ceremony and Reception. Laura in particular was absolutely wonderful to deal with providing us with guidance and assistance throughout the planning phase, answering all questions big or small and making us feel prepared and comfortable for one of the biggest days of our lives. The day before she was present for the rehearsal and made sure she knew the exact timings of everything. The day of, she was there to play the music and coordinate everyone. I was particularly grateful as the Bride to have her there to stand with while waiting to make my entrance. She was a very calming presence and we just knew that she had everything under control throughout the day and night for which we are so grateful. Her communication with all Vendors was excellent and we couldn’t have asked for a better function coordinator.

You made our day so perfect!

We just wanted to send you a message, sorry it’s taken a while to get back to you. We just got back from our honeymoon. Your support and organisation throughout the whole wedding process was phenomenal! Truly you made the process so much less stressful. Any questions we had you answered them quickly and we loved that you gave us some advice if something would look better a different way. The day went so smoothly and you were a huge factor in this. You made our day so perfect! Also please thank your husband for working so hard to get the fountain in and everything looking great outside! I will be recommending Two Rivers to everyone I know getting married. I cannot thank you enough!

Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were.

The groom and his party stayed at the venue the night before and the night of the wedding. Everything was set up beautifully, was very clean and he had access to everything he needed. The groom had a few women on his side and so we can say that the venue was very accessible for hair and makeup with lots of natural light and plenty of access to PowerPoints, etc. Likewise, in terms of the accommodation itself, the space was roomy without being too large and everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. We would highly recommend a stay at the accommodation on Two Rivers.

Questions

The things couples ask first.

Numbers, rain, beds and the bar. If yours isn’t here, ask — we reply within two working days.

Ask us something else
How many guests can we have?

The pavilion seats [TBC] at long tables and holds more for a cocktail-style reception. The vineyard row and the river lawn take up to [TBC] for the ceremony. Tell us your number and we’ll plan the layout around it.

What happens if it rains?

The ceremony moves under the pavilion roof, still looking out at the vines. It is covered and open-sided, so the wet-weather plan is part of every package rather than a compromise.

Can our guests stay on the estate?

The guest cottage sleeps nine across four bedrooms, with a timber deck over the Hunter River. It is usually where the couple or the wedding party stays, the night before and after.

Everyone else is a short drive away in Denman or Muswellbrook.

When do we have the estate to ourselves?

The cellar door closes at 5pm, and from then the estate is exclusively yours. Earlier ceremonies are easily arranged; day visitors keep to the cellar door.

Who does the food and the wine?

Estate-partnered caterers, or bring your own. The wine is ours — Two Rivers by the bottle, chosen with you after a tasting.

Is there a curfew?

Amplified music finishes at [TBC]. Guests staying at the cottage can carry on quietly on the verandah.

Where do the photographs happen?

The vineyard rows, the riverbank, the sandstone sculptures and the ranges at golden hour. Photographers are welcome to walk the estate with you before the day.

The night before, and after

Wake up where you said it.

Four bedrooms, a deck over the Hunter River and a wood fire for the cool nights. The cottage sleeps nine, and Wine Club members stay for 20% less.
